Perfect Fit™ Blinds

Perfect Fit® Pleated Blinds

This is the most popular of the Perfect Fit range. Especially suited for conservatory applications with many heat reflecting coated fabrics. A wide range of colours and black-out fabrics are available. The blind is operated by hand in using a cord tension system, allowing you to stop the blind anywhere between the fully open or closed position. Our Perfect Fit pleated blinds all use pleat equalisation components to prevent the pleats from flattening out and gathering at the bottom of the window like some inferior systems do.

Perfect Fit® Cellular Blinds

Similar in look to pleated Perfect Fit blinds but with a few added benefits for a little added cost. The honeycomb design traps air, thus keeping rooms cooler in summer and warmer in winter, helping to both insulate and increase energy efficiency – which is especially useful for conservatories. The unique construction means that there are no visible holes in the fabric giving it a sleek modern look. There are over 40 fabrics in the Cellular range, with plain colours, patterns and black out to choose from.

Perfect Fit® Venetian Blinds

Available in either 15mm or 25mm aluminium or 25mm wood slat. Perfect Fit Venetian blinds are operated by hand using a cord tension system. This prevents the blind from slipping down when fully open. They can be stopped anywhere between the fully open or closed position, but this less practical with this style of blind compared to the other types on this page. A permanently attached clear wand control is used to adjust and tilt the angle of the slats. A large range of aluminium colours including metallic and pearlescent finishes plus more than 30 natural woods are available to choose from.

Perfect Fit® Roller Blinds

Fits to the window in exactly the same as the other Perfect Fit blinds on this page, but the top aluminium casing is a litter larger due to housing and concealing the roller and fabric inside. Operation is simple – pull the blind down by hand and twist the bottom bar to lock in any desired position. Unlock and gently guide the blind up as the spring roller winds the fabric. A comprehensive fabric range from voile to opaque. Any of our standard roller blind fabrics may be selected.

Perfect Fit® Roof Blinds

The revolutionary Perfect Fit blind system extends to cope with roof areas of almost any size, shape and complexity. They work on a similar principle albeit slightly different design to Perfect Fit side blinds. A pleated or cellular blind is pre-built into a self-contained frame which snap-fits to the window using brackets held in place by the window bead.

No holes are drilled and no screws are used, thereby doing no damage to the UPVC. Everything is self-contained within the frame of the blind so there are none of the unsightly brackets or cord anchors you would get with a conventional roof blind. Standard operation is manual, either with a detachable telescopic wand or by hand if reachable. Motorisation with remote control is an option. Not all companies will offer Perfect Fit roof blinds as not all are comfortable with the measuring and fitting of them, but at Othello Blinds we favour them over any other roof product.

This is easily the neatest and best solution on the market. Available in the same range of fabrics as our pleated and cellular Perfect Fit blinds.

Pleated or Cellular?

Pleated fabric is a single layered piece of fabric with folds permanently creased into it – normally at 20mm or 25mm spacing. It is the conventional and more economical option at purchase. Cellular fabric (sometimes known as honeycomb or Duette) is more expensive but does offer further economical benefits. The two layer “celled” fabric traps air between the two, offering better insulation against both heat ingress during the summer and heat loss during the winter. It also has the added benefit of hiding the operational cords and the holes they run through within the two layers, providing a more aesthetically pleasing finish. With pleated fabric these will be visible.
